Miracles

January 27th, 2010

Miracles have been on my mind lately.  I have been a witness to so many of them.  There is the miracle of my grace recieved in 1998.  There is the miracle of life, illness cured, babies being born and the general celebration of each day as our minds and bodies continue to operate.    There are biblical miracles as the one at Cana, where Mary commanded Jesus to make more wine.

In my work, helping those that are grieving or sick, I am often asked if God would grant them a miracle and will God respond to their prayers?   The simple answer is yes.  He knows every hair on your head and loves each one of us.   But what I am finding is there are certain things we can do to better ourselves in times of trial.

I am a firm believer in Holy Water, water blessed at a church by priests.  The water of Lourdes is known to have healing powers and people from all over the world flock to bottle it and take it home.   Yes, I have seen holy water work.  It amazes me everytime that the simple gift of water, representing the baptism and cleansing of our spirit can heal our souls.

Lighting candles at the Church of Our Lady of Consolation I know works.  I am a personal witness to this.  This has occurred several times since 1998 and even today I have heard of a close friend receiving a miracle from devoting his life to Christ and lighting a candle to the Blessed Mother for help.

In Acts 4:30:  May signs and wonders take place though the name of Jesus.  Also in Acts 14:3 The Lord confirmed by signs and wonders.    The miracles I have witnessed along with the people receiving them are truly the Lords confirmation that he is listening and actively answering your prayers.  Sometimes the answer is not what we want or expect, but the mere act of acknowledging that he is with us and answering our prayers is what I define as a miracle.

Pray, light candles, get holy water to bless yourself.  These simple gifts are always there when we need a little extra from God.  It can’t hurt only help each one of us.

Merry Christmas

This is the time when we remind ourselves and others how much we care for them.  We exchange gifts with one another to show our appreciation for the other person.  God has shared a gift, its called a grace.  I didn’t ask for the gift, but in his love he shared it with me.  I say thank you every  night and every morning for this wonderful gift.  I have and hope to share it with as many people as I can.  My gift is to be shared and hopefully it will allow people to feel the sense of God, Christ and Mary.  For with out them we would not have this Christmas season.

I have witnessed many tragedies and sadness with this gift.  I have been with many families who have been separated from a loved one in death.  I have compassion and feel for them all.  I only wish that I can explain the love that I feel of the person that has crossed over for their families.   They are in Gods love which there is no greater love.   So, during this Christmas season, remember God and his gift of love to Mary which had the grace to love us by giving us her Son, Who in turn takes care of the world.

Merry Christmas!

Grace of Mary August 09

August 24th, 2009

I always think of the month of August as Mary’s Month.  This is the month that I received my grace back in 1998.  I think of the Feast of the Assumption, we remember the death of Mary and being assumed into heaven.  It has been a very busy month with the sharing of grace with strangers I now consider friends.  I have met such wonderful people.  They were kind enough to allow me to share there lives with them and there loved ones that are deceased.  I always learn and feel the love that is shared in each of their memories.  This is the Grace of Mary in return to me.  I am looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible in September.

Time and space

Thank you for coming to my site!

Mary the blessed Mother, is  very much involved in each and everyone’s life.  I have met with many people over the 11 years of receiving her grace.  It is common to have the question of is there life after death?  And do my loved ones who have passed know about my life now?  The answer is simply yes.  God loves all his children and in doing so, allows souls to see each of us.  Not to control or have intercession-that is up to God and Christ, but to comfort and love us.   Imagine looking at a globe, you may see different places at the same time.  That is also how it looks to those in heaven.  They can see you in a loving non interrupting way, but also others.  It is really a gift from God.  Time in there world is not linear but is round and they stand in the middle of it.  Seeing there past, present and future for families and loved ones.     I hope that it will bring comfort to some of you and understanding.   Again, souls that have passed aren’t interested in controlling us, but purely loving us and accepting who we are for what we are.

Welcome to the new blog and website Grace of Mary!

My intention for this site is to offer information on the real apparitions and stories of today’s Mary.  My name is Sharon Houghton and I have been blessed with a grace to see the unseen.  It started in 1998 when I received my first apparition of Mary.  Since that time I have been helping people all over the world.  This is an opportunity to share some of the stories and experiences I have had with others.  I also encourage you to purchase materials to further your study or enhance your spirituality.  From time to time I will be revealing new information that I have received from Mary, her son our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.  I encourage your feedback and hope that you will enjoy my site!

God Bless,

Sharon Houghton
